Drive continue to Salzburg the ‘Sound of Music’ city Enroute to Zell Am See. Your unforgettable tour continues to Zell am See, a picturesque little city nestled between the exceptional alpine scenery along the crystal clear sparkling lake Zell. Stroll through the historic town center or walk along the lake side promenade with amazing views of the lake and the surrounding mountains and deep valleys filled with emerald forests. Starting from Mirabell Palace, you'll be guided through the historical downtown on the left side of the Salzach river, passing one of the most famous music academies in the world - the Mozarteum and Mozart's Residence. Here you'll learn even more about the life and work of the Austrian prodigy. After crossing the city bridge, you will find yourself in the heart of the historical Baroque downtown where you can catch a view of the Salzburg Cathedral and admire the festival district. Next stop, Schloss Leopoldskron, which you may recognize from the classical film, "The Sound of Music". Lastly, you will drive by Nonnberg Abbey back to Mirabell Square where the tour will end. We drive on the Ring Boulevard and see the State Opera House, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. We also make a phostop at Hofburg-former winter residence of the Habsburg family and the Belvedere Palace- former summer residence of Prince Eugene. Our last visit to Schonbrunn Palace (photoshop tour from outside). After see the Schonbrunn we will drop you at Vienna Boulevard and most famous shopping street Ringstrasse where you may spend free time and explore on your own. Evening free for personal activates.
