Welcome to Tbilisi City, the capital of Georgia! Meet and greet our our representative at the pickup point at the airport. Upon arrival, a pick-up and transfer to Gudauri will be arranged, which would approximately be a 3 hours journey. After check-in, the rest of the evening will be at your own leisure. The dinner for the group is already arranged at the hotel as part of the tour.
After a hearty Georgian breakfast at the hotel, you will have the rest of the day at your leisure. Head northwards and enjoy stunning views. Stop at the Jinvali water reservoir, a calm lake surrounded by green hills. From there, discover the impressive Ananuri Fort. Explore the remains, and walk through the yard and the old tower while your guide tells you the story of this beautiful place. The Georgian Military Highway is full of scenic and interesting spots including a mineral spring, which is believed to have healing powers. Take in the views at the Soviet Monument of Friendship, home to one of the most beautiful panorama platforms in Georgia, with stunning panoramas of the mountains and gorges. Next, stop at Kazbegi, the centre of the region and home to the famous Gergeti church. Drive up to mount Kazbegi, from, where opens the Mesmerising view of Mkinvartsveri. Visit the church of the Holy Trinity (Gergetis Sameba), which is located 2200 m above sea level.
Day three will begin after breakfast at the hotel followed by meeting the guide at 09:00 am. From where the tour leaves for a city tour of Tbilisi. The next phase of the tour will happen with a visit to Mtskheta, which is the ancient capital of the Georgian Kingdom. From there the tour will move on to visit the Jvari monastery. The monastery stands on top of the cliff and provides views overlooking the city and a Mesmerising view of the confluence of two rivers Mtkvari and Aragvi below. Then the tour will visit the Svetistskhoveli cathedral, which is an Eastern Orthodox cathedral located in the historic town of Mtskheta. Explore the town's traditional shopping area at the entrance of Mtskheta. The Tbilisi city tour will begin with a walking city tour of Tbilisi’s old part. The visit will include a visit to the Metekhi church, and then a stroll through Sharden Street. That will lead to the “Bridge of Peace '' and a ride up to Narikala Fortress by Cable car. After exploring the monument which is often considered the symbol of the country and called the “Mother of Georgia''. The tour will finish with a walk down to the bath district of the country. After a hearty Georgian breakfast at the hotel, you will have the rest of the day at your leisure. Borjomi, the city is well known for its curative balneological climate and unique spring waters. Free time for leisure in nature in the park of Borjomi. Also, visit the Uplistsikhe cave town (entrance fees are not included). The location contains various structures dating from the Early Iron Age to the Late Middle Ages. Another interesting fact about the location is the coexistence of Pegan and Christian architecture. Overnight at Tbilisi Hotel P.S.- Entrance fees for Uplistsikhe cave town, Borjomi Park and Cable car in Borjomi are not included and passengers pay directly at the gate.
The final day of the tour will begin with a healthy International breakfast at the hotel in Tiblisi. Post this you will be transferred to the International Airport in Tibilisi for your flight back to your home country, with memories of a wonderful journey that would last a lifetime.
